This style of chili, first served in 1922 in Cincinnati, Ohio, spawned the great chili parlor chains of the Midwest. The Hard Times Cafe has been dishin' up honest-to-goodness chili for over a decade and their spice mix allows you to re-create this authentic chili by simply adding beef, tomato sauce, onion and water. Served with spaghetti it becomes 4-way chili and a good, hearty meal. Comes in an attractive box which contains two spice packets (each flavors 2 1/2 lbs. of meat.)
