For the purist, this ground habanero pepper powder is the most incendiary on the market. Tested at 427,000 Scoville Heat Units, this powder is made from habaneros grown by renowned grower, Frank Garcia of GNS Spices. It this powder was any hotter it would be illegal!

Habanero Vanilla Ice Cream

1 cup light cream, chilled
2 cups heavy cream, chilled
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 teaspoons habanero powder
Mix well, until sugar is dissolved. Put into your favorite ice cream maker.
Enjoy.

The pepper powder adds heat without changing the basic flavor of the food like is done with most hot sauces.

I buy 3 at a time... the powder that is...office. home and backpack to travel. I recommend it to all the kitchen staff at cafe's I frequent. Hopefully, they listen.
