Since it's been nearly 25 years since I last tasted this, I can't say for sure if it is the same as the old but it sure is good no matter what. Nice Mustard based sauce with flavor to spare. That's the key in what I look for. I have no interest in hot for hot sake and stay away from Million scoville offerings. I want to taste my food not obliterate it. I look for balance with flavor taking priority. Inner Beauty has a nice medium-hot heat. Mustard will be the initial taste. There is also Papaya and Orange but the fruit factor is not forward on this sauce like a Tears of The Sun. This would pair well if you do a short mop on some ribs or a Bahain style chicken.

So happy to refind this lost classic!

Inner Beauty, which I have loved for years is not a burning, go to the hospital hot sauce....it is a hot and spicy, but very flavorful sauce you can put on just about anything, and it picks the food and you, and the whole room up a little bit, but does not ruin the evening like a lot of hot sauces can....!

I slightly prefer Lottie's as this sauce is a little bit sweeter tasting. However, Inner Beauty is still spicy and great. Well worth a purchase if you like spicy mustard style sauces.

Discovered this great hot sauce years ago, then it disappeared from the market; I'm very happy that it is being made again. It''s not just hot buy also very tasty! It goes especially well with salmon.

I have loved this hot sauce since the first time I tried it perhaps 20 years ago at the East Coast grill in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I haven't been able to find it locally for several years, so I was quite happy to see it available with Mohotta. It's packs a nice bit of heat, but what makes it special to me is the delicious flavor.

A little too sweet for me. I like it enough to use it in place of mustard on hotdogs or hamburgers. I would like it better if it was thicker.

The original Inner Beauty, our absolute favorite hot sauce, disappeared from the market. (Maybe the company went out of business?) Then suddenly, we discovered Rasta Fire. Pretty much the same recipe, in the same-shaped bottle. A-men! Then Rasta Fire similarly disappeared. Our souls were crushed. While searching the Internet to try to find out what happened this time around, we discovered a new Inner Beauty. Different artwork on the bottle; not quite the same personality. We decided to give it a shot. Could it be...the same? Our long-lost friend? Eureka! It is!

A much beloved Mexican restaurant from a few decades ago introduced us to Inner Beauty. Love at first taste, this sauce Showed up in the early days of the hot sauce explosion and just blew us away. We introduced our kids to this sauce and they too quickly became fans of the Hair on Fire label with the Inner Beauty inside. Gone for probably 25 years, I asked our favorite sauce shop owner in Gulfport, Florida (Red Hot Tiki) if she had ever seen it around. She remembered it and told me it could be found online. One case later from Mo Hotta, and we are back in business! Yes!! Modest heat with that scorch bonnet pepper zing, tempered with tropical juices and a mustard tang this is a must have in your fridge. Get it. Try it. You will be a convert. Inner Beauty to you.

About 20 years ago, I discovered Inner Beauty hot sauce. I loved it . . . just enough kick and incredibly flavorful. It is perfect on burgers, or just about anything else. Then, one day, tragedy struck. I went to get another bottle and found out that it had been discontinued. I spent years looking on line and trying sauces and recipes that claimed to be "just like" Inner Beauty, but I was always disappointed. Now it is back, and just as delicious as I remembered. I may have to buy a truckload of this stuff, in case they ever decide to cease production again.

This sauce is delicious. Out of all the mustard sauces this may be the very best. Great natural ingredients and very low sodium which can be important for some. Can be used on anything...eggs...burgers... anything!

Ah, the many times I looked, read and skipped this prize. Slightly on the sweet side, and a balanced mustardy heat. Allows you to enjoy the scotch bonnet heat without overpowering your food.
