Matouk's West Indian Salsa Picante Hot Sauce is a great, but milder version of the Trinidad and Tobago favorites with a wonderful tropical flavor.Papaya and mustard subtly blend with scotch bonnets and the result is intense heat with not much sweetness. This one received Playboy magazine's highest rating - five chiles.

If I was stuck on a desert island I'd make sure I had plenty of Tabasco and plenty of Matouk's Salsa Picante. This is the real thing.

One of the Best

Matouk's is simply one of the best hot sauces on the planet. It's hot but not killer. And the flavor is outstanding - onion, hint of mustard, hint of garlic, but not too much. YUMM. I must always have Matouk's on hand. Thanks Mo Hotta Mo Betta for offering it at a really competitive price.

My favorite hot sacue

This is my all time favorite hot sauce. I can almost drink this stuff from the bottle it's so delicious. It's not as hot as some of the other Matouk's sauces (all great!), but the flavor is absolutely marvelous blend of scotch bonnets, onion and spices.

Our Favorite Sauce!

The only sauce that compares to an old favorite from a trip to St. Croix in the 80's. A perfect blend of heat and flavor that we have never been able to replicate in any other sauce. Since we can't buy locally, we love Mo Hotta Mo Betta's making it available and easy to order. Thank you!

A great surprise!

I ordered this by accident. The Calipso sauce is my favorite in this line of sauces, but this one has a wonderful flavor. Much like the Carribian hot sauces, it is great. A wonderful surprise of flavor.
