Cajun Power Jambalaya
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 4 Lbs. Pork ribs or backs
- 2 Cups Onion, chopped
- 1 Bell Pepper, Chopped
- 3 Ribs celery, chopped
- 3 1/2 cups short grain rice, saw
- 1 Bottle Cajun Power Garlic sauce
- 3/4 cup Green Onion tops, chopped
- 1/2 cup Parsley, chopped
- 3 1/2 Cups water
Directions:
Cut pork into pieces and season with salt, pepper and Cajun Power Garlic Sauce. Brown pieces of pork and put into hot oil in a large heavy pot. It is important that you brown this meat well, but be careful not to burn it. Add vegetables, saute until tender and then add rice., onion tops and parsley. If you'd like, cut up some sausage into one inch pieces, fry and drain, and add to the mixture with rice. Stir well, add water, cover and cook for about 1 hour. Do not stir anymore. Keep on low heat and season to taste.
